Rock Art Sites

Temple Mountain rock art sitein the US state of Utah is located near Goblin Valley State Park. (see the Utah state parks website for Goblin Valley park information) The style is predominately Barrier Canyon, considered to be between 2000 and 4000 years old, along with some more recent Fremont style figures. The painted rock surface is prone to flaking, so some of the imagery is now missing. The site is 45 miles SW of the town of Green River and is located beside an unpaved but well maintained road that is accessible by passenger car.
